We are looking for a family that is patient and has ample time to help Tilly trust humans and come out of her shell. She is ready to make a family very happy and be a consistent family friend. The ideal home for Tilly is one with ample time and attention dedicated to her. Tilly had 25 teeth extracted and needs a soft food diet, but is otherwise healthy. She does well in her crate and is working on potty training, using the pee pad and going outside, but requires frequent reminders. We’re looking for a family to be patient and help Tilly work through this fear. Tilly is not leash trained and is afraid of the leash. While Tilly does well with cats, adults, and children, she is very shy and timid. Tilly is extremely sweet and lacks any aggressive tendencies. She’ll lay against your leg, likes to be petted, and slowly moves her head onto your lap. Once she relaxed in her foster home, she became a calm spirit who enjoys sleeping on the couch. Initially anxious upon arrival, it took Tilly some time to warm up. Weighing 17 pounds, Tilly is healthy, spayed, and up to date on shots. He may be shy at first, but he warms up quickly and will be your loyal companion. Hamilton is still learning how to be a house dog, and has made great progress. Hamilton would also do better as the only dog in the house, as he is not very fond of other dogs and is a resource guarder when other dogs are around. He would do best with someone who is home a majority of the time, as he does not like to be alone. Hamilton is looking for a forever home where he can get a lot of attention and love. He is also good with car rides and has traveled with his foster mom and two fur foster brothers. Hamilton is fully crate trained and knows how to walk on a leash, come to his name, walk up and down stairs, and play with toys. He is very snuggly and affectionate, and he likes to be by your side. He loves his bed, balls, running in parks, and naps. In foster care he has learned to be a happy and playful dog. He is now enjoying his life in foster care and learning how to be a house dog.
